Kalk Bay
Kalk Bay is one of our favourite places to visit, with a great range of restaurants and shops to keep us entertained - even when the weather is bad. In fact, Kalk Bay seems even prettier when the weather is wild. We like to book accommodation in town, so that we can enjoy our sightseeing in the small town centre on foot, without the hassle of finding parking or worrying about driving after a dinner with wine. A very atmospheric and picturesque place to visit any time of year, and close to many other beauty spots. I haven't tried it yet, but one day I would like to visit from Cape Town using the train, which conveniently stops just outside the lovely Brass Bell!

Scarborough
Scarborough is a very peaceful and quiet village. The people were very friendly and helpful. Having a break there was a good choice to get away from the hum drum of city life. Highly recommended and we will be back.
