Very good location - close to city centre, we felt safe and secure.

Berea(DBN)
I like this area. A little noisy with the traffic, but it's nice and close to all the major attractions and has some interesting buildings.

Margate
Margate is a lovely destination with a number activities for all. Everything is within walking distance with a clean beach and friendly locals. An ideal holiday location for all

Port Shepstone
Nice town, plenty to do in the area. The drive down to Port Alfred is beautiful with lots of interesting stops on the way, also only 1 hour away from Durban as well.

Umdloti
A quick drive from Durban taking you to a little beach town you would never assume to be so lovely. Ballito is a popular place but Umdloti still has that undiscovered, uncrowded feel to it. It really is my new favourite retreat

KwaZulu Natal Accommodation

The KwaZulu Natal province is in the North East corner of South Africa, bordering Mozambique. The midlands on the other hand, are the epitome of country life. Dotted with small towns, country estates, farm-style restaurants and craft shops pushing everything from blown glass trinkets and pottery to beautiful crocheted linen, the midlands are a great place to pass a couple of relaxing days.

If history is more your thing, the Battlefield region of KwaZulu Natal will not disappoint. Aptly named for the famous battles that took place here between the British settlers and Zulu natives, a tour will more than satiate your desire to learn more, bringing these famous battles to life.
