We are very fond of the Magaliesburg area as a whole and have been holidaying there for many years. There are great shops and eateries, and places of great interest to visit. Outdoor and country lovers cannot help but love Magaliesburg and it's surrounds.

Magaliesburg
Our family spent 3 days in the area. We were pleasantly surprised by all that Magaliesburg had to offer. We visited the town and could shop for what we needed. We stopped at one of the many padstals and were met by friendly faces and helpful people. We will recommend the town and area and plan to visit again in the future.

Magaliesburg is a lovely place, we enjoyed the mountain views, a good get away from the city.

Swartruggens
Lovely little town with a real old country atmosphere. Not backward though, all necessary foodstuff and everything else is available. The dam and The Grove coffee shop is worth a visit. Very nice dam with lovely camping and fishing spots.
