We are from Namibia and did not know PE at all but I am 100% sure that I made the best decision regarding the area when I started to look for accommodation. We just loved Summerstrand! Very, very nice area with beautiful beach and a lot of restaurants. My kids just loved the area and my daughter even said that she would like to study there next year!

I totally love Summerstrand and Port Elizabeth as a whole. If it is at all possible in my lifetime I will most definitely relocate as soon as possible!

Summerstrand
Summerstrand is ideally situated for the tourist, but also for the business class. I often make use of this area when on business trips. From a tourist point of view it is out of the hustle and bustle of city centre, but within reach for a day trip in and around town. Accommodation is above standard and the owners of the various venues live up to PE's motto "The Friendly City". The close vicinity to the beachfront makes it a special place to stay. I'll be back.
