Storms River
Stormsrivier is a quaint little town. We were there on a Saturday afternoon and expected a sleepy town, but to our surprise it was alive with music, people relaxing at the diner, others on quads driving past and there was enough to see an do for all of us. We took pictures of ourselves with the Cadillacs, with Elvis and Marilyn and took bets on who would be able to park those beauts in a 2012 parking space! We also drove to the Fernery, a guest farm with the largest fern nursery in South Africa. We expected to enjoy an early dinner but they only serve dinner from 19:00. According to word on the street and from the menu we saw, it is 5-star quality. But driving down there during the forests and fernery, looking down from the dining room into the deep gorge, seeing the waterfall, was good enough reason to go there, even without getting dinner there.
