Kwambonambi is a small town but it has beautiful views and entertainment.

St Lucia is a beautiful, well kept place which I thoroughly enjoyed! I was quite impressed by the cleanliness, the friendly people as well as the infrastructure. To think one can just drive two hours from the city to experience fresh crisp air is just amazing. I will make it a point to go back every year.

Wow ! It was our first time visit to the town - so impressed - clean, friendly people and very, very impressive. Could not believe how clean the streets were on a Saturday evening after a busy Saturday morning shopping session. Admired the beautiful lit up stone church in town which I have subsequently posted on facebook as the most beautiful church I have ever seen. Will for sure be back in Vryheid and have recommended to many friends to take the time to visit such a beautiful, peaceful town. We had to travel to the rural area of Vryheid for business and again found the residents to be so welcoming. We presented the Vryheid rural church community with a non-electric brick making machine so that the community can start making their own bricks to build houses. They were ecstatic with happiness and blessed my husband and I for opening new doors to their community. We will be back in 2 months time, once they have built up a stock of inter-stacking bricks so that we can show them how to build their houses. We left Vryheid with warm content hearts and will return with the same. What an experience !!!

St Lucia is a wonderful location; as an overseas visitor myself, my wife and my young family were enchanted by the area and regarded it as an experience of a lifetime. We had a particularly enjoyable evening at the St Lucia Boat Club where, sensibly, they welcome visitors with open arms - unlike similar Clubs in other locations which are strictly members only.
