The entrance to the guest house - ferns and topiary privets give a feeling of peace as you stroll along the walkway to the front door. The secure open parking adds to the atmosphere of peace and security.

The Bay Tree is ideally situated: close to Pretoria University and Unisa, SABS, Little Company of Mary, Zuid-Afrikaans and Jacaranda hospitals and some of the top schools, the Austin Roberts Bird Sanctuary and the Brooklyn Mall/Design Square shopping complex, with easy access to the major highways and the tourist attractions of the area.

The rooms range from 2 singles to the suite. All have en suite bathrooms (some have a bath and shower, others only a shower, so that you can choose what suits you best). Naturally, all rooms have DSTV television (guesthouse bouquet) and a refrigerator, as well as tea or coffee making facilities, a plug for your shaver, a safe and everything else necessary for your comfort.

Breakfast is normally served in the dining room. Of course, in fine weather you can choose to have breakfast served next to the pool or, if the sun is too hot, in the thatch-roofed lapa overlooking the pool.

This is also available as a meeting room, suitable for business meetings or small conferences for a maximum of ten people. Catering and prices by arrangement.

Directions
From Johannesburg International, take the Pretoria Road as far as the Fountains Circle (+- 45 km). Turn right (Brooklyn/ Groenkloof) into George Storrar Drive. Go as far as Queen Wilhelmina road, turn left. At the first traffic light where you can do so, turn right into Nicolson Street. After three blocks turn left into Roper street and the Bay Tree is on your left.

From the N1, take the Lynnwood Road off ramp, turn towards Pretoria. turn left into Roper Street after about 4,5 km.

From the N4, entry to Pretoria is via Schoeman Street. Turn into Glyn Street (the M7) from Schoeman. Glyn becomes Duncan. About 2,5 km along Duncan, turn right into Lynnwood, then 2 blocks later left into Roper Street.
