Big Blue Beach Lodge

Big Blue Beach Lodge is situated in the picturesque coastal village, Beachview, only 20 minutes drive from Port Elizabeth. It boasts with magnificent sea views, dolphin and whale watching, stunning sunsets and warm South African service.
A quick 2 minute walk will bring you to the ocean with tidal pools for snorkeling and exploring. This is also a perfect fishing spot.

All 5 the rooms are beautifully decorated and has en-suite bathrooms. Three of the rooms has balconies with sea views. The honeymoon room has a lovely romantic atmosphere and a beautiful sea view. The family room caters for those with small children. A full English breakfast is included in the rate.

Big Blue is ideally situated for the exploring tourist. Within a 15 km radius you can find the Seaview Lion park, Maitland Mouth Sand dunes, Kragga Kamma Game Park and Elephant Walk restaurant. Big Blue is in close proximity to the Oceanarium, Casino, City Centre, Addo Elephant park, Shamwari and Jeffreys Bay.

DIRECTIONS TO BIG BLUE BEACH LODGE FROM P.E. AIRPORT

As you drive out the airport turn left at the circle.
Turn left again at the first robot. There will be a road sign indicating Seaview.
This is Heugh road, which becomes Buffelsfontein road. Stay on this road for approx. 25 km’s. You will eventually reach Seaview.

When you see the Spar centre on your right there will be a road on your left. Turn left here into Elizabeth road. (The road that’s next to the ocean. Note that Elizabeth road becomes Maitland road).
Drive for approx. 4 km’s until you reach Beachview. (In between Seaview and Beachview there is a stretch of vacant land, when you reach the build up area you are in Beachview).
Take the second right into Beachview drive. Take the first right in to Seestrand. Take the first left into Mackerel.
We are nr 20 – the big sand coloured house with thatch roof.
