A subway across the road takes you under the rail line directly on to the seafront boardwalk. We offer panoramic sea views, combined with a brick paved terrace opening onto a delightful fynbos mountainside garden. Watch the whales frolicking in False Bay, from the comfort of the lounge, or from the small deck situated on the mountainside. Observe from the window the endless seasonal parade of whales, dolphins, seagulls, paddlers, surfers and beach-goers. Barbecue/braai on the terrace or cook in the kitchen while you watch the waves.

For the more active, explore the rocky pools right across the road, enjoy a short walk along the seafront boardwalk to some of the best beaches in Cape Town, surf at nearby Surfer’s Corner, take a hike in the mountains, or launch your kayak from the any of the nearby beaches.

The apartment has 2 bedrooms, one with a queen size bed, the other with 2 single beds. The TV room with sleeper couch can double as additional sleeping room if required. Victorian style bathroom with bath and shower. Equipped kitchen, open plan lounge and dining room, plus a simple outdoor barbecue/ braai facility on the terrace. Offstreet parking for 1 car.

Directions
From Cape Town, follow the signs to Muizenberg. Once on the M4 Main Road, follow the coastal road past Muizenberg, with the sea on your left. Look for a building with a glass conservatory on your right, this is Caradoc. If you see the colourful huts on your left, this is St.James beach, you have gone too far. Park at the Muizenberg Battlefield on your right and ring the bell at Caradoc next door, left intercom for the top floor. PLEASE CALL US BEFOREHAND to arrange for us to meet you with the keys. Note this is temporary parking until we hand over the keys, actual parking is inside for 1 car.
