C'est La Vie offers two self-catering cottages that each sleeps 6 people.

A personal welcome upon arrival will ensure you feel right at home.

Top floor offers one double bedroom, two twin rooms, a bathroom and WC.

The double room and one twin room have top floor access to the sun deck and chill-out area that has ocean views.

Linen and towels are provided.

The kitchen is fully equipped including an electric stove/oven, fridge-freezer and microwave.

Basics like coffee, tea, sugar and some spices will ensure you feel right at home from the minute you walk in.



The living room boast a delightful open log fireplace, perfect for romantic evenings or cosy winter nights in.

The dining table seats six and a highchair is available, on request, for your little one.

There is a conveniently situated downstairs shower room and WC.

For the ultimate in luxury, all cleaning is included, washing and ironing can be arranged.

Firewood logs provided for the fireplace and BBQ..

On the ground floor there is an undercover, built-in BBQ area that is perfectly sheltered from hot sun or winter showers.

An outdoor shower and washbasin is ideal for washing wetsuits or cleaning the day's catch. The shared garden is a secure and safe place for children to play.

Whether you want to read a book on the beach or take advantage of the many activities like bird watching, cycling, fishing, spear fishing, scuba-diving, mountain biking, sailing, surfing, swimming, walking, wind-surfing, kite surfing, 4x4 trails, quad bike tracks, wine routes or crayfish diving, C'est La Vie is just for you. 



The luxurious Port Owen Marina is a popular holiday and weekend resort for the discerning.

Regular boat trips are taken up the river to view birds, e.g. flamingos and pelicans.

This is one of the best birding experiences on the West Coast.

The annual Berg River Canoe Marathon ends at Velddrif, and ocean going yachts have found this a safe basin to moor in.

The area also offers good fishing, for both boat and rock or surf anglers.

Early mornings dolphins can be seen to playing in the surf.


Velddrif and Laaiplek restaurants, which are on the Crayfish Route, have a choice of seafood delicacies and traditional country fare, served with characteristic West Coast hospitality.

Directions
These beautiful cottages are an easy and scenic one hour and forty minutes drive from Cape Town International Airport.

Just take the R27 North from Cape Town towards Velddrif.

Go past Velddrif and drive further north for about 10km, through Dwarskersbos.

Go past a caravan park.

The next little hamlet you will find is Kersbosstrand.

Turn left into Hemelhoogte Street, on the right hand bend find number 21.

You have arrived at your destination!
