Dieneke extends a warm welcome to her guests and offers homely and individually designed accommodation. This is an ideal 'stopover' for the business or leisure traveler.

Donnybrook guesthouse is a privately owned guesthouse situated in the lovely country environment of Glenferness. Converted from the original farm building of the Donnybrook estate, the guesthouse offers you a warm and homely stay in an attractive house surrounded by a beautiful garden.

Situated close to the Sandton and Rivonia business districts with banks, stock exchange and many shopping malls, golf courses, theatres, restaurants and nightspots, you can retire at the end of the day to a home away from home, providing you with total security, peace of mind and a restful sleep. No passing cars or motorbikes, only the sound of horses grazing and birds chirping.

The guesthouse is also close to Kyalami Racetrack and Equestrian Park, home of the Lipizzaners. Monte Casino, a multibillion rand leisure complex built in the style of a Tuscany village is just a few kilometers away. There is easy access to the cricket and rugby grounds of Wanderers, Centurion, Ellis Park and Loftus. The historically rich city of Pretoria is 30 minutes away, and you can get easy access to the many places of interest in and around Johannesburg so that you can make the most of what the area has to offer. We are also close to Gallagher Estate, for those who are attending a conference or exposition.

Directions

From JHB International Airport follow the exit lane in the airport always keeping to the right. This will lead you on to the R24 going towards Johannesburg. Continue on this road for approx 7 kms. When you come to the large right hand sweeping bend, you are going over the N12, which you join into. Stay in 2nd or 3rd lane and you will shortly see the signs for N3 to Durban and N3/N1 to Pretoria. Follow the Pretoria sign. As you come off the N12 you keep right at the fork and then go immediately into left lane to join the N1/N3. Stay on this until you see the sign to Roodepoort. Take this left fork and soon after take the Rivonia Road exit. From the exit you turn right underneath the highway and immedeately left so that you follow the road parallel to the highway. After 6 robots you turn right at the intersection with Main Road (direction Kyalami). After you have crossed the river and gone uphill, take the first road left (Chattan Road). We are 1 km into the road on the right.
