Impangele lies near the base of the Langeberg mountain range. Impangele is situated two minutes walk from the beautiful Swellendam Golf course, and three minutes from the base of the Swellendam Mountain Hiking trail. Also close to excellent restaurants and the local shops, it really does have the best of both worlds! Your hosts, David and Amanda Shackley, will warmly welcome you to their beautiful home in Swellendam, the third oldest town in South Africa.

There is a deck for you to sit and enjoy a glass of wine while watching the sun set over the Langeberg mountains. The superb plunge pool is cleverly crafted from a water storage tower and offers a wonderful opportunity to cool down after a hot day in the Overberg. In the morning you will be thrilled by the superb breakfast platter, which is served at the time of your choosing. You can enjoy it at your leisure whilst being entertained by the abundant bird-life in the stunning sensory garden

The spacious en-suite bedrooms have many extra personal touches, including original African artwork. The Leopard and Zebra Rooms both have queen beds - the Leopard room is so spacious that there is room for two single beds as well for a family booking. Both room have en-suite facilities with showers. The Zebra Room is fully wheelchair accessible. A twin bedded room (the Giraffe Room) is also available and makes a good budget option for business travellers and friends. All rooms have TV and tea and coffee making facilities and all guests have access to fridge, microwave and a cool guest lounge.

Directions
From Swellendam main street, (Voortrek St) Andrew Whyte Street is the road opposite OK grocers; it is signposted Marloth Nature Reserve. Impangele is the big pale blue house 500m on the right.
