This comfortable, air-conditioned little cottage is situated beneath a giant pine tree in the delightful village of Loxton. The air-conditioning unit can be adjusted to either cool, or heat the cottage; and in winter, there are electric blankets on the 1 double and 1 single bed (NB: both these beds are in the same room). Karoo Cottage is fully equipped for self-catering. Breakfast ingredients for light or self-cook are an optional extra and will be placed in the cottage kitchen for your use - ON REQUEST ONLY

The cottage consists of one large en-suite room that has 1 double, and 1 single bed, plus a table with 4 chairs, and other small furnishings. It's fully carpeted, and leads onto a small equipped kitchen. Furnishings are in keeping with an old Karoo theme. There is a small stone braai at the rear of the cottage in the garden.

No stress, no crime, no pollution. Just peace, quiet and the odd donkey cart clip-clopping past. Most streets are lined wiwth trees, and in spring, the 100-year old pear trees burst into blossom. Come and experience a tranquil Karoo hamlet where the night skies dazzle stargazers.

Directions
From the N1 at Beaufort West take the R381 to Loxton for 120km on a gravel road; alternatively, we lie on the tarred R63 that runs from Kimberley to the West Coast. Our neighbouring towns are Victoria West and Carnarvon.
