Situated at the slopes of the Makhonjwa Mountians, overlooking the town of Barberton and the De Kaap valley, this 1890 built Victorian Style house with its spacious veranda provides the perfect opportunity for relaxation. It was first used as Mine Offices and during the South African War as a mess by the British troops. It was in possession of the Wormal family for 50 years, and in 1996 it was converted into a guest house.

It is ideally situated to explore the town with its rich historical heritage as well as the surrounding nature splendour.The house is in walking distance from the centre of town as well as the Heritage Walk, taking you to all the various tourist attractions, such as the Belhaven Museum, Fernlea and Stopforth House, Jock of the Bushveldt Monument as well as the Block House, which was used during the South African War by the British Troops.

With two double bedroom-en suite and two twin rooms both with en suite bathrooms, we can accommodate 8 people with ease.

From Nelspruit (R40): Take first turn off into Barberton. Continue on this road (General Street). Continue up to Pilgrim Street, turn LEFT into Pilgrim Street, cross President Street. Turn RIGHT into White Street (after Parking area), which leads into Kloof Street. We are at No.1 Kloof Street.
