'Rosewoods' is a charmingly furnished two storey colonial home under thatch in the 'Country Cottage' idiom. With one double plus one single bedroom, and extensive reception space, 'Rosewoods' is appropriate for individuals desirous of sequestered tranquility and spacious comfort. All rooms have verdant garden views, with appealing vistas of Table Mountain through the trees.

Downstairs there is an entrance hall, guest cloakroom, sitting room, dining room and kitchen. The sitting room lies directly open to a high-beamed thatch roof and includes a unique stone inglenook fireplace and colour TV. The dining room is adjacent to the lounge and opens out onto a patio, beneath a creeper covered trellis. The spacious kitchen has been restored to an authentic 'fifties' country style. The latter includes stove, fridge, microwave and washing machine. The cupboards contain all necessary utilities, including fine cutlery and crockery.

Upstairs are two sunny bedrooms, library-study and bathroom (bath with shower). The main bedroom has a cottage style Victorian brass & iron double bed. The library-study opens onto an upstairs veranda.

Overlooked by Table Mountain, and close to one of the world's most beautiful coastlines, the four acre estate forms a meticulously planned landscape. The harmonious blend and rich variety of both exotic and indigenous plantings indulges the spirit of the outdoors man. Further interest is provided by ponds, fountains, conservatories and a roof garden (as featured in 'Garden & Home' magazine).

Directions
Directions to the Constantia Woods Estate:

Exit the Airport and continue for approximately 3km
Merge onto the N2 highway
Follow N2 Stad / City signs
After approximately 18km move into the left hand lane with M3 Muizenberg sign
Continue on M3 past the University (on Right hand side) until A set of Traffic Lights (approximately 12km)
Continue along M3, up and over the brow of a hill, until you are driving with the sea in the distance on you left.
Once over the brow of the hill the road will curve sharply to the left, follow the road down the large sweeping drive and look out for the ‘Constantia / Hout Bay Off-Ramp (M41) on the left hand-side as you near the bottom of the hill.
Follow off-ramp and at the T-junction at the bottom of the off-ramp turn left into Constantia road (M41). Follow this road past a sports club on your left, and then a shopping centre.
You will reach a set of traffic lights with a stone church on the right hand side. Continue straight across these lights.
The road will dip down and veer to the right. Pass the turn-off to Groot Constantia Wine Farm on the left hand side, and a little further on the entrance to Silverhurst Estate on the right.
Shortly thereafter you will notice ‘Price Drive’ on the left. Go past Price Drive and look out for the second driveway entrance on the left hand side of Constantia Road after Price Drive entrance.
Our Property is a white house with a thatched roof and has stone gate pillars with a large wooden gate. There is a row of Victorian posts, joined by chains, on the road verge outside, as well as a rather beautiful tall Victorian Street Lamp.
