It is our pleasure to offer you a refreshing & relaxing environment for your stay in Wellington - South Africa. At Soete Huys we have combined space and comfort. Our guests can enjoy a wonderful private garden with spectacular views over the mountains, a private shaded terrace and a breakfast deck under the branches of vine.

Our rooms are beautifully decorated in a contemporary setting.
They are spacious and light and set up for peaceful relaxation.

All of our rooms are very spacious (45 sq metres). Each is semi-selfcatering with its own entrance from a private terrace and come with the following amenities : private shower with quality towels, TV set, refrigerator / mini-bar, toaster, micro, cutlery & crockeryand eating areas.

All of them are furnished with a double bed; one with additional single bed. Two rooms have a separated bedroom with a bunk-bed.

Our flat has a bedroom with ability to sleep 5 and a couch in the living room, a small kitchenette and a bathroom with a bath.

We like to present you Soete Huys - Bed and Breakfast - Guesthouse. Originally, a dried fruit farm, the main house was built in the famous Cape Dutch style in 1921.

After a few renovations the house still breaths the rich history of its surroundings. The former barns are transformed into very spacious rooms. They are luxurious, spacious and have en-suite bathrooms and are semi-self catering.

You can enjoy the landscape from your private terrace, with magnificent views over the beautiful garden and the mountains. Or you can cool down in the swimming pool in this authentic scenery or at night under a canopy of stars.

Lounge away the afternoon in the shade of the vines on your terrace or take a sun-bath in the loungechairs under the palmtree in the garden.

Directions
Route from the Airport :
From the airport you take the N2 direction Somerset; after +/- 5km you turn on the R300 (direction N1); after +/- 18km you turn on N1 direction Paarl. After +/- 24km you turn on N44 direction Wellington. In Wellington the R44 ends on a T-crossing with lights, you turn left direction Wellington. You follow the R303 till the first lights, turn right into Church Street. Just outside town you have a 3-way stop, next you have a 4 way stop. Here you turn left onto the gravel road.
On top of this gravel road is 't Soete Huys.
