Uniondale is world famous for its wandering but friendly ghost. We named our cottage in honour of this young lady. Uniondale is situated at the entrance of the Langkloof -a beautiful mountain valley which is the export mecca of fruit in South Africa. Baviaanskloof (a World Heritage site) is only a short drive away. Use your time to visit a Game Farm or Fruit Packing facility. Ideal for mountain biking or drive to the Trout Farm in De Vlugt for some fishing.
The Road between Uniondale and Knysna (Prince Alfred's Pass) is an absolute must and the scenery is breathtaking, you do not need a 4x4. The pass is 70km long and takes around 1:30 hour to do.
