Located in the heart of the Garden Route, The Point Hotel is magnificently positioned on the rocks below Mossel Bay's famous St Blaize Lighthouse. Facilities in this 4-star hotel include 52 spacious, sea-facing, en suite rooms with private balconies, from which you can view the majestic passing of the Humpback or Southern Right Whales. All rooms were refurbished recently and are spacious and beautifully decorated with well appointed bathrooms with a bath/shower combination. A huge tidal pool right in front of the hotel offers safe bathing.

The Point is a popular destination for rock anglers. Opposite the hotel you can find the Inner and Outer Pool, which have become internationally renowned surfing venues. The St Blaize walking trail offers hikers breathtaking views during their walk, and makes the Point a true Eco-friendly destination. The Point area offers a selection of 7 diverse restaurants including The Lighthouse Restaurant, all within walking distance of the hotel. Mossel Bay offers beautiful beaches and a year-round beach-going climate. Mossel Bay is situated on the Garden Route, halfway between Cape Town and Port Elizabeth.

The Lighthouse Restaurant offers sumptuous breakfasts and a delicious A La Carte menu which focuses on Mossel Bays' famous seafood for lunch and dinner. Set menus and buffets also available. Service in the restaurant and room service from 07:00 until 23:00 daily. The menu reflects the modern trends of simplicity and freshness, with vegetarians extensively catered for. Enjoy an abundant supply of local fresh produce including seafood, which Mossel Bay is so well-known for. Conference facilities are available and cater for 80 delegates in cinema style and 65 delegates in conference style. Directions
Travelling from Cape Town along the N2, drive straight into Mossel Bay along Louis Fourie Way. Go through 4 sets of robots after fourth take left off ramp. At intersection turn right and drive down along Marsh Street without deviating and this main road will lead you directly to The Point Hotel.
