Tsitsikamma Backpackers offers a unique Eco-friendly tranquil environment situated in Stormsriver Village. This four stars and Greenline accredited hostel is surrounded by the magnificent Tsitsikamma forest and mountains. Easily accessible just off the N2 highway, a mere 65kms from Plettenberg Bay and 110kms from Jeffrey’s Bay, on the Baz Bus route.

This pristine Backpacker Lodge offers luxury double en suite, double, tented garden units and dorm accommodation in a magnificent one acre garden setting with rolling lawns and unsurpassed views of the mountains. We cater for the discerning traveler who wishes to relax and unwind in a beautiful setting. Daily breakfast and dinner is served and we have vegetarian friendly options. Our bar and entertainment area is the perfect place to sit back and relax after an adventure filled day!

We offer in house free star gazing as well as guided hikes. Situated close to numerous nearby activities such as the Tsitsikamma Canopy Tours, Tsitsikamma Eezi bikes, Black water tubing, horse riding, Tsitsikamma National Park and the famous Bloukrans Bungy jump. Wherever possible, only local suppliers are supported to stimulate the surrounding economy – firewood, charcoal, vegetables, meat and mineral water and of course local labour is employed.
