Watervale Lodge provides accommodation and delicious home-cooked meals in Inchanga, in a beautiful country setting, halfway between Durban and Pietermaritzburg, close to Cato Ridge, Camperdown, Hammarsdale, Valley of 1000 Hills, Botha's Hill, Drummond, Hillcrest, Gillits, etc.

The comfortable en-suite rooms in the Annex carry the flavour of Africa, whilst the log cabins with separate ablutions are located in a quiet and beautiful garden-like setting. Camping can be arranged in grassed areas close to the log cabins. Wake up in the morning to the sounds of the abundant bird life and take a walk in the grounds where you will encounter small wildlife such as Oribi and Duiker. A number of Hamerkop (the bird in our logo) families have made Watervale their home.

We can cater for up to 40 persons and have a quaint indoor/outdoor country pub with barbeque facilities, where a refreshing drink can be enjoyed after a day of outdoor activity or sightseeing.
