Area Attractions:
Great mountain and beach walks! Access to Table Mountain National Park is just 300 metres down the road. Walk to popular Fish Hoek beach, featuring: a kid's playground, restaurant, bistro, calm water and safe bathing (recently voted one of the safest beaches in the world). The temperature of the water here is approximately 5-7 degrees warmer than that of the beaches off the Atlantic Coast (Camps Bay, Hout Bay, etc).

World-renowned Boulder's Beach Penguin Colony, Cape Point Nature Reserve and Chapmans Peak Drive are located nearby, as is the Constantia Wine Route (all three within 20km).

Whale watching is a favourite pastime in the False Bay area from early August through to mid-October each year. Enjoy whale watching from the comfort of your balcony, or you can take a stroll along the coastline for more intimate views of these fascinating, gigantic mammals frolicking in the sunshine.

Central Cape Town, Table Mountain, Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens and the Victoria & Alfred Waterfront are all within a radius of 35 minutes by road.

Directions
To get from Cape Town International Airport you exit the parking lot and proceed along the N2 highway towards Cape Town for about 10 - 12 minutes. As you approach the base of Table Mountain keep left, turning onto the Muizenberg M3 highway. Continue on this highway through Bishop's Court, passing the turn-offs to Wynberg and Constantia.

About 20 - 25 minutes after having left the airport you get to the end of the M3 Muizenberg highway in the form of a T-junction and traffic lights. Turn left here and then first right at the next T-junction. Now follow your nose along the coastal road passing through Westlake, Muizenberg, St James, Kalk Bay and then into Fish Hoek. Keep going through the town centre until you reach the one and only traffic circle at which you should keep left - heading towards Simon's Town and Cape Point. At the first set of traffic lights after the circle turn right and head up the hill keeping left. After about 100 metres turn right into High Way. Whale Watchers is number 82 on the right hand side about 100 metres after going over the brow of the hill.
