Zongoene Lodge | Hotels Xai Xai

The Lodge accommodates a total of 62 guests in two bedroom family units (accommodating four) or pool chalets (accommodating two). All have en-suite bathrooms and sliding doors opening out onto extended wooden balconies where you can enjoy the magnificence of your surroundings. The decor is both elegant and befitting of the Mozambican culture, it echoes of Portuguese comfort and luxury.

ZAR and US$ are accepted in Mozambique
For US$ - no $1 bills or old bills (with small heads)
At the Lodge we accept all major currencies and Visa & MasterCard, American Express, Diners Club or Traveller’s Cheques.
Extras will be converted to the local currency, Meticais.

Turn left after the Matola toll plaza, on the outskirts of Maputo, following the signs to Xai-Xai - Route EN1
Your route will lead past the main towns of: Marracuene, Manhiça, Macia and Chissano.
Before Xai-Xai on the main road is a big sign to Zongoene, turn right. This is approximately 192 km from Maputo on the main road at a small town called Chicumbane.
On your left, you will see an electrical transformer station. Keep on the main road for approximately 36kms to the lodge. (Please note that from the main road to Zongoene Lodge is a SAND / GRAVEL ROAD) Follow Zongoene pointers at the intersections.
