A UNIQUE country retreat! A working farm ideal for family holidays and get-aways. Situated beneath the Klein Swartberg mountains in the peaceful valley of Voorbaat .We are only 19 kms off the famous R62 and 23 kms from Ladismith. We Offer Self-catering or guest house accommodation with meals. We also have 3 fully equiped self-catering cottages with braai facilities.

The guest house has 3 double/twin en-suite rooms with ceiling fans. Meals are served alfresco under a large shaded stoep over-looking the farm or in the intimate dining area. There is a converted concrete dam behind the house or farm dams for swimming in the summer months.

Hike & Explore the kloofs water pools along the mountain range or take a relaxing stroll around the farm. Wildlife include; Duiker, dassies, baboons, wild hares, mongoose and many bird species.

Directions
FROM BARRYDALE ON THE R62: (+- 100km)
We are 23kms before Ladismith town.

Just after the Right turn off to RIVERSDALE, Turn left for LAINGSBURG.
Continue for approx 10km.
Turn left @ T-Junction for LAINGSBURG.(loose Cell phone reception)
Continue for appox 5km.
Turn Right into VOORBAAT (good gravel rd).
Continue for 4kms.
Take 2nd left (just after small bridge & blue gum trees.(sign for Beecatcher)
Continue until you reach fork in road.
Keep straight on into farm lane and follow signs for Beecatcher. You might need to open & close 2 farm gates.
Aprox. 1km to Beecatcher Guest Farm.

COMING FROM CALITZDORP R62 (+- 45 km)

Go straight through LADISMITH (past the left hand turnoff for the R62 and R62 coffee shop).
Follow the rd around the bend until you get to a T-JUNCTION
(opposite the golf club, rugby field on left).
Turn left onto the LAINGSBERG rd.
Continue for 17 kms .
Turn right VOORBAAT.
Follow directions as above to farm.
