Grand Kruger Lodge has a 4-star grading. We sleep 46 guests with maximum privacy in double en-suite rooms and units (units consist of 2 rooms). We also offer our clients the opportunity to stay in our exclusive Grand Kruger Luxury Chalet Camp. These rooms are decorated exquisitely with African artefacts, whilst the exterior is an alluring facade of local architecture.

We have 6 Luxury Chalet's. Each room features a loft, which allows for up to 2 guests to sleep upstairs and 2 guests downstairs. Both ground floor and loft area have their own en-suite facilities. Each chalet is equipped with tea/coffee making facilities as well as a mini bar, air-conditioner, overhead fan and private balcony. The balcony allows for guests to relax during the day and night privately on their sojourn. Meals can be taken in the main lodge, dining room or delivered to the privacy of your room.

Dining:

Grand Kruger Lodge serves a delicious buffet breakfast and guests can enjoy a scrumptious dinner or buffet with a menu that never fails to impress with ever changing specials, often featuring unusual dishes. The restaurant can sit 80 people to ensure a brilliant eating experience every time!
The tastefully furnished bar, lounge and restaurant are fully licensed and equipped to cater to every gastronomic need. Alongside the restaurant is a partially covered pool-deck where guests can enjoy refreshing cocktails while cooling off in our sparkling pool. In the evening enjoy African cuisine al-fresco, around a crackling bush fire while enjoying the nocturnal sounds of the wild life around you.

We here at Grand Kruger pride our selves on giving you the best game viewing experience possible. Game drives in open vehicles with qualified game rangers provide guests with thrilling opportunities to view the 'Big Five' as well as a myriad of other flora and fauna in the Kruger National Park, which is a short and easy drive away. Bush walks with knowledgeable rangers will give guests a chance to see game 'up close and personal' or take pleasure in a night drive to hear and spot the elusive nocturnal animals. The nearby Komati River is renowned as one of the best tiger fishing venues where guests can enjoy a unique river boat trip. The bird life in this area is abundant and we boast with over 500 species that add to the overall enjoyment.

After a day of game viewing you can relax in comfort in the lounge, bar, terrace or enjoy the sparkling pool surrounded by the spectacular view of animals and bushveld.

Day tours to Mozambique and Swaziland can be arranged, where guests can enjoy traditional dancing and tribal customs of our neighbors. Micro light flights and golf games can be arranged for those interested in seeing the bush from a different angle

3 Hour Interaction and Elephant Back Safari

After your interaction you will saddle up and head off into the bush exploring the area across the veld in search of their favorite trees. Feel free during this ride to get off the elephant at any time and experience walking with them as well. This is an excellent way to get good photos of them feeding and watching the grooms interacting with the elephants. Long trousers and boots are essential for this experience.

Directions
Herewith directions to Grand Kruger Lodge.

Travel from Pretoria/Johannesburg on the N4 to Witbank. Follow the N4 through to Middleburg then to Machadodorp, take the left fork after the Machadodorp toll and go through Schoemanskloof. Then travel through Nelspruit to Malelane - Komatipoort.

After Malelane you travel for approx. 30kms and pass Hectorspruit on your left hand side.
Approx. 15kms after Hectorspruit is a turn-off to Marloth Park.
Turn Left onto +/- 6kms of dirt road and then you enter the Marloth Park gate.

Travel on tar for approx. 6kms past the Marloth Trading Post on your right.
+/- 150ms after Trading Post is Waterbok Street –Turn Left.
T-Junction Swartwitpens –turn left.
Turn left into Hartbees Street and the Lodge is about 300m up the road on the right side.
