Welcome to Cactusberry Lodge. This is a beautiful old Victorian town house, newly renovated, with high ceilings and Oregon pine floors only a stroll away from the city buzz, restaurants, shops, and bars and a short drive to our magnificent beaches.

We provide 5 comfortable bedrooms en-suite, 2 of them have a kitchenette with fridge, microwave/grill, toaster and kettle. Additionally we have a family room for up to 4 persons with a nice separated bathroom.

English or continental breakfast is served in the dining room or in the old courtyard which also has a braai area and a splash pool for when it's just too hot. The large comfortable guest lounge with TV for your relaxation, leads out to a breathtaking view of Table Mountain and a wonderful, large sun deck to lap up the sun and enjoy a sundowner in the balmy evenings.

Cape Town is a wonderful, exciting even exotic city with its multicultural rainbow nation with diverse forms of art and culture. The guide books are full of descriptions of the winelands, the beaches, the mountains but we would love to assist you to enjoy "insider" activities, like visiting some little avant-garde theatres, spending an evening, learning to play a drum, staying overnight in Khayelitsha, visiting some special restaurants eating African and Cape Malay cuisine and don`t forget the African market on Sundays at Greenpoint.

Directions
Coming from the airport or N2/ Garden Route:

Drive out of airport onto the N2 direction Cape Town. Follow N2 till the motorway divides, staying in the left hand lane. Follow the sign “De Waal Drive/Cableway”, staying in the left lane.

The De Waal Drive goes first up then down the hill into town. As you are coming down the hill into town, go slow (speed camera-60km/h). As you see the first houses (a complex with brown houses on the right side) there will be a sign “Cableway” on the left side. Attention: Do not take the exit Vredehoek! Take the second curve left after the “Cableway” sign.
After the turnoff, there is a tall high-rise building on the left (the only one) with GARDEN CENTRE written on top and illuminated at night.
Drive past the Garden Centre and turn left at the first traffic light into Breda Street.
Drive 300m up the hill.
We are the second house on the right after the sports grounds, behind a red wall:
