This 7000 ha reserve is renowned for its truly awesome topography, created by the slowly meandering Bushman’s River running through it.

Bush Lodge
Situated in the bush, at the top end of an open valley in the reserve, this 5 star lodge has 5 luxury tents, each overlooking a watering point with big sky views. All buildings have thatched roofs, tented walls and wooden floors. Each spacious tent has a private plunge pool, large oval bath, double outdoor showers, fireplace, air conditioning and mini bar.

Guest reception is at Reed Valley Inn where guests are welcomed and checked in. From there guests are transported in open game viewers by our experienced rangers to Bush Lodge.

Directions
From Port Elizabeth, take the N2 to Grahamstown. After 60km you will see the Amakhala, Reed Valley signs. Follow the signs to reception. From reception at Reed Valley you will be transferred to Bush Lodge.
