Fully booked from 9th of December 2011 to 4th of January 2012. Situated in a quiet cul-de-sac in Morgan's Bay, Ocean Valley View offers you comfortable self catering accommodation, with beautiful views of the sea, valley/bush and cliffs all within very easy walking distance of the sea (600 metres).

This modern architect-ed 3 bedroom double storey house has a spacious open plan setting downstairs leading to a large wooden deck terrace. The three double bedrooms all have their own balcony from which you can relax and enjoy the scenery.

The main bedroom (king size bed) is en suite equipped with a large oval bath. The second bedroom has a queen size bed and the third bedroom 4 single beds. These two bedrooms share a separate bathroom with shower. There is a downstairs guest toilet and the kitchen is well equipped with a stove, microwave, dishwasher, fridge/freezer and washing machine. There is an outside concrete braai/barbeque.

All bedding is supplied. Guests are required to bring their own towels. Satellite TV reception is available, bring your own DSTV Card.

Rates vary according to the season, length of stay & number of people and are between R700 and R1300 per night for the house/unit.

Morgan Bay has a small bakery/grocery and hardware store. Affordable meals are available in the relaxed atmosphere of the Morgan Bay Hotel and other local informal restaurants.

The many activities available in the area include :

Fishing, hiking trails, horse riding trails, beach activities, cycling and mountain biking, windsurfing, surfing, swimming, bird watching (approximately 250 different species), viewing whales and dolphins (in season) and seaside rock climbing.

Tourist attractions in the area :
Well-Known Strandloper Trail; 4X4 trips into the Transkei; Mountain Bike Trails; 9 hole links golf course and country club (5 km in Kei Mouth)-- providing squash, tennis and bowls; Shell Museum; River fishing on the Kei River and chartered deep-sea fishing; Jacaranda ship wreck on Wild Coast; Great kei River Cruises; African culture --especially Xhosa traditions; Historical facts about Frontier Wars.

Game viewing at Inkwenkwezi Private Game Reserve (approx. 55km) This can be organised directly with the Game Reserve.

Other Activities :
The seaside resorts of Kei Mouth, Haga Haga and Morgan Bay are situated within a distance of 7 kms. The pontoon across the Great Kei River provides easy access to the Wild Coast and the well-known Strandloper trail transverses Black Rock Farm. Half day or three to four day's guided horse trails/safaris from neighbouring Mkulu Kei Horsetrails Farm into wild coastal areas. Casual horse riding is available. Rare artifacts to be collected on Bead Beach from Portuguese ship wreck, including Ming china and beads.

Directions
82km east of East London. Travel on the N2 towards Durban for 40km - turn right at Kei Mouth/Morgan Bay R349 signpost. Continue for 35km on the Kei Mouth Road and then turn right at the Morgan Bay signpost (which is a few hundred metres past the aeroplane at the Ferndale School). Continue for a further 7 km on a newly tarred road into Morgan Bay. Directions to house on confirmation of booking.
