Mmuthlwa Lodge is a haven for discerning travellers or business executives who enjoy the comforts of home away from home to that of a hotel. At Mmuthlwa Lodge we are proud to offer every service you can expect in a hotel and much more!

Your hosts are Dave, Andrew & Viv who welcome you to their home, which is set on 3 acres of sweeping lawns, Bushveld vegetation and Indigenous trees. Bird life is abundant with resident families of Guinea fowl, Louries, Weavers, Sunbirds and Barbets. The beautiful sunsets over the trees in the West are both inspiring and breathtaking.

This is indeed a peaceful and tranquil venue with a definite reference to the Bushveld amidst the concrete jungle of Gauteng.

We have 9 individually decorated en-suite bedrooms and 3 bedrooms in the main house which share a bathroom. All rooms feature personal amenities, Television with M-Net and shared DSTV, fully stocked Mini bar, Tea / coffee making facility, Hair dryer, Wall heater, Overhead ceiling fan, Clock radio, Electric blankets and a safe for personal use.

Laundry & Ironing services are available.

A Full English Breakfast is served daily in a comfortable Dining Room with a fireplace. Lunches and Dinners are also served on request and we are happy to cater for individual dietary needs.

Transfers, Car Rental, Chauffeur Drives and Local Taxi services can be arranged on request.

Mmuthlwa Lodge also offers a conference venue, which can seat up to 25 people schoolroom style, built under thatched roof with big windows and sliding doors to the outside.

The conference venue has it's own bathroom facilities.

Lunches and Tea breaks are served under umbrellas in the fresh air surrounded by Bushveld trees.

The setting of this venue is also ideal for an intimate wedding, private party, cocktail function or baby shower and so forth.

Equipment and meals are supplied and quoted based on each individual client's needs.

Madelein has been in the Hospitality Industry for 15 years and will be able to assist with requests for Decor, Entertainment or any other services related to an Event.

Directions:
Travelling North on the N1 from Johannesburg towards Pretoria, take the Allandale off-ramp and turn left into Allandale. At the second traffic light, turn right into Harry Galaun. Continue on Harry Galaun over 3 sets of traffic lights. At the very next 4-way stop, turn left into Norfolk Road. We are the 3rd property on the right hand side; #101 Norfolk Road.

Travelling South on the N1 from Pretoria towards Johannesburg, take the New Road off-ramp and turn right over the bridge into New Road. At the second traffic light you will see Carlswald Lifestyle Shopping Centre ahead of you, turn left into Harry Galaun. Continue on Harry Galaun over 2 sets of traffic lights followed by a 4-way stop. At the third traffic light there is an Engen Garage on your left and Midway Mews Shopping Centre. Continue over this traffic light. At the very next 4-way stop, turn right into Norfolk Road. We are the 3rd property on the right hand side; #101 Norfolk Road.
