Cannon Rocks is a quiet village on the Sunshine Coast. It borders on the Greater Addo Elephant Park and is about 10 minutes from Kenton on Sea.

There are a number of hiking trails along the coast on the desolate beaches of the Woody Cape Nature Reserve, located just west of Cannon Rocks. The Indigenious Alexandria Coastal forest also provides for spectacular birding, whilst the are is also renowned as a very popular fishing spot.

Cannon Rocks is also ideally situated for day trips to Addo, Kariega, Shamwari and Sibuyo game reserves as well as the towns of Kenton on Sea, Port Alfred, Bathurst, Grahamstown and the wild coast.

From P.E:

Drive on the N2 towards Grahamstown and take the R72 to Port Alfred at the Nanaga turn-off. Pass Alexandria and take the Cannon Rocks/Boknes turn-off left.

Continue on this road until you reach the 4-way stop at Boknes. Continue over this crossing towards Cannon Rocks. At the next stop street turn left in Dawn Street and then take the second right (Alice Street). Continue down Alice street for approx 3km until the road curves naturally right.

The first street right is Doreen street and the house is number 34 on the left.
