Sandcastle B & B is situated in Melkbosstrand, a coastal village only 30 km from Cape Town and gateway to the famous West Coast making Sandcastle perfect for travelers and business guests.

All our rooms are en-suite and equipped with air conditioners, satellite television, digital safe, internet access and complimentary tea, coffee and still water. Three rooms have queen sized beds and one room is a twin bed.

Sandcastle is very close to the beach and our balconies and sun deck have spectacular views of Melkboss beach, the Atlantic and even Table Mountain and Robben Island.

The sundeck and balconies are perfect for whale watching, sundowners, tan and just reading a book or relaxing. Guests also have exclusive access to our swimming pool and small kitchenette.

The famous West Coast National park which is visited by travelers during the flowering season in Spring, is close to and Melkboss also has its own nature reserve where walking and cycling is permitted.

A few kilometers away is an airfield with a parachuting club, offering solo or tandem jumps. Surfing, kite-surfing, wind sailing, kayaking and fishing are some of the many water sports guests can participate in.

We also have several partners that offers guests private tours with a qualified tour operator, transfers (airport as well) and spa treatments. We can even organize a surfing course should you be interested.

1 Head west on Airport Approach Rd 1.4 km
2 Merge onto N2 Rd/Settlers Way via the ramp to Cape town 2.9 km
3 Take exit 14 for M7/Vanguard Drive
4 Turn right onto Vanguard Dr / M7 / N7 and continue for 26.0 km
5 Turn left onto Melkbosstrand Rd/M19/R304 Continue to follow Melkbosstrand Rd for 9.2 km
6 Cross traffic lights and turn right onto Otto Du Plessis Dr 350 m
7 Take the 1st left onto Atalante St and continue to T junction 300 m
8 Turn right onto Mostert Rd Destination will be on the left 350 m
