The Gorge Private Game Lodge & Spa is nestled in an unspoiled part of South Africa’s South Coast region of KwaZulu-Natal, the majestic Oribi Gorge. Situated only 32km from Port Shepstone, it offers one of the most spectacular natural wonders of our diverse country.

Five exclusive, luxury villas are built on the edge of the impressive sandstone cliffs offering spectacular views of the Oribi Gorge Nature Reserve. From this vantage point, guests can enjoy the sight of the endangered Cape Vultures gliding on the thermals and our ever changing views.

The main structure and dome roof have been built from concrete while the walls have a natural rock cladding to blend with the sandstone cliffs of the gorge. The interior decor blends ultra modern state-of-the-art gadgets with a touch of Africa.

Two thirds of each chalet boasts double volume glass creating an unobstructed view of the Mzimkulwana River and the Oribi Gorge Nature Reserve. Each chalet has its own indoor and private outdoor shower overlooking the gorge.

All chalets are fitted with Caesarstone quartz baths & surface vanities and rich, mahogany furnishings in the spacious dressing rooms.

Each chalet is fitted with an Eco Aire air conditioner, fully stocked mini-bar, digital safe and a 74cm LCD TV with DSTV and selected DVD's.

Directions
From Durban• Travel on the N2 south towards Port Shepstone (aprox 60 min drive)

• Take the off ramp at the Oribi Toll Plaza (keep left)

• Turn right at the top of the off ramp and travel on the N2 towards Harding/Kokstad for 10km

• Turn right at the sign that reads Oribi Flats East

• Then drive for 22km past the Dwala Cement/Lime factory and St Martin's orphanage

• Proceed down the hill and turn left onto the district road D251 (it is a gravel road)

• Continue on this road for 2km and turn left into The Gorge
