Werner and Lotti Dedig both already the third generation in Namibia would like to welcome you at there little Bed & Breakfast on a 8000 hectare Cattle Farm.
The original name of the Farm is called “Miershoop” which means Termite hills in Afrikaans and was named like that because there are so many of them on the farm.
Termite Hills B&B is situated north of Windhoek between Okahandja and Otjiwarongo a merely 2.5 hour drive from Windhoek on the B1, in the central part of Namibia. The farmstead is surrounded by bush savanna the Omatako Mountains, Etjo Mountain and Waterberg Mountain and is an ideal stopover between Windhoek and Etosha National Park, or coming from Etosha an ideal stop before flying back home.
Werner and Lotti maintain a fitting balance between running a very small guest house and operating their Cattle farm and game farm. In the peaceful farm atmosphere, guests can enjoy German-Namibian hospitality, a high standard of personal service and delicious home-cooked meals. An insight into Namibian farm life, as well has the difficulties on cattle farming in this bushy area of the country, can be grasped from the German, English and Afrikaans speaking hosts.
The main attractions here are learning about day-to-day farm life in Namibia. Termite hills B&B is family-orientated and children are very welcome.
