Likweti Lodge is the jewel of the reserve offering 4-star luxury accommodation, delectable cuisine and outstanding personal service.
The Lodge boasts two Luxury Suites, each with its own private, heated plunge pool and eight Executive Rooms. The individually built Suites and Rooms have been designed to offer guests maximum privacy together with magnificent views and all have private viewing decks, complete with outdoor showers. The interiors have been furnished in an eclectic bush style and have Tea/Coffee making facilities, mini bar, air con, gas fire place, DStv, safe, robes and slippers, hairdryers, bird and tree books and complimentary Sherry.
The Luxury Suites and Executive Rooms can accommodate a maximum of two Adults sharing. Four of the Executive Rooms have sleeper couches which can accommodate one child under 12 years.
The common area of the Lodge houses reception, a comfortable lounge with a gas fire place and fully licensed bar. The thatch covered, open-air eating area leads off the lounge, overlooking the pool and affords guests a 360 degree view of the property.
The Pezulu Restaurant at the Lodge offers guests mouth watering cuisine prepared from the freshest, local ingredients, created with flair and passion by our culinary team. Coupled with an array of fine local wines, sparkling wines and Champagnes from our cellar, the dining experience at Likweti is sure to be a memorable one.
We are able to accommodate special dietary requirements providing we are notified 24 hours prior to guests' arrival.
Likweti is home to an array of animals including leopard and buffalo and a host of general game can also be found on the property like, giraffe, wildebeest, zebra, kudu, impala, nyala, warthog, vervet monkies, jackals, civet,several and the like. The property is also home to over 300 different bird species including the mysterious African Finfoot.
Game drives can be arranged at an extra charge. Game drives depart from the Lodge at 06h00 and 16h00 during the summer months and 06h30 and 15h30 during winter and are conducted by trained, professional rangers, passionate about Likweti and its wild life.
Located in a malaria free area, only 25 min drive from Nelspruit, four hours by road from Johannesburg and less the 3km from Kruger Mpumalanga International Airport, Likweti offers guests a 4-star, tranquil bush experience with the opportunity of visiting the nearby, world reknown Kruger National Park.
