Lungi is the abbreviation of Numelungelo, which means "rights" in the Xhosa language. Lungi’s is a friendly ran B&B, where you will feel immediately at ease and it offers you the unique experience of family life and culture in a South African Township. Gladys, your hostess, opened the B&B after working multiple years in a hotel at Greenpoint. She runs the accommodation in a welcoming and proud way.

Lungi's Township B&B is located in a traditional house, which was fully redecorated in 2009. The house stands on it's own plot. Gladys prepares a breakfast that includes traditional African as well as European dishes. Snacks and drinks are also available.

Lungi's has 2 guest rooms with twin beds. The red room has a bathroom en suite. The yellow room has communal use of bathroom and toilet. The colours of the guestrooms and the lounge have been carefully chosen by Gladys. The garden offers a snug corner to sit and enjoy the township vibe.

Directions
From Cape Town
Take the N2 South, towards Somerset West. Take Exit Maccassar (number 33), about four exits after the airport. At the off-ramp, turn right towards Muizenberg, next crossing turn right direction Khayelitsha (M9).

Turn right at the first crossing (at the taxi stand), follow this road and then turn into the 5th street on your right. You will head straight towards the building of Education Centre, follow the turn right en turn left immediately. Follow this road until the road turns left. This is Sivivane Street. After 300 meters you will find Lungi’s Township B&B on your left hand side.
