Welcome to Edenwood Guest House, situated in George the capital city and geographical hub of the Garden Route. "A taste of Eden" - Edenwood Guest House is nestled at the foot of the Outeniqua Mountains in the suburb of Eden, adjacent to the George Dam.

"Edenwood", with it's meandering gardens and tumbling river that form part of the Kat River Reserve, provide you with tranquility and gracious hospitality. The ambiance of this comfortable Colonial Guest Home makes it a sheer pleasure to return to after a weary day of exploring the Garden Route and surrounds.

Directions
From George Airport:
Exit the airport and turn right at the "T" intersection into R102 at the airport entrance. Carry on along this road which goes around the airport perimeter fencing until you see a bridge. Take a slip road to the left (N2 George) and proceed onto the Freeway (N2). Take 3rd turning off the N2 (Exit 437) into George coming from Cape Town at the Garden Route Mall. Take the 4th right into Fifth Street. Continue straight on to the traffic circle and turn right onto Stander Street. Drive past the Retirement Village and take next left into Bokmakerrie Street, down a steep hill towards the forest and after curve in the road, take the next left into Hammerkop Street. We are No.9, the large white house with a green roof and the South African Flag outside.

From Cape Town:
Take 4th turning off the N2 (Exit 437) into George coming from Cape Town. Take the 2nd right into Fifth Street. Go through the 4-way stop, continue straight on to the traffic circle and turn right onto Stander Street. Drive past the Retirement Village and take next left into Bokmakerrie Street, down a steep hill towards the forest and after curve in the road, take the next left into Hammerkop Street. We are No.9, the large white house with a green roof and the South African Flag outside.

From Knysna:
On the N2 from Knysna, after Wilderness you climb through the Kaaimans Pass up to the plateau above the sea below the Outeniqua mountains. When passing the Victoria Bay turn turn off on the N2, keep in the right hand lane which will feed you on to a fly
over past the George Mall (still under construction) and into George itself. You are now on the Knysna Road. Take the second turn off to the right after the Bells Golf Academy called Fifth street. Go through the 4-way stop, continue straight on to the traffic circle and turn right onto Stander Street. Drive past the Retirement Village and take next left into Bokmakerrie Street, down a steep hill towards the forest and after curve in the road, take the next left into Hammerkop Street. From Oudtshoorn:
Come down the Outeniqua Pass on the N12 and carry on into George central by staying on the N12 until it intersects with the Main Road (York Street) at the traffic lights. Turn left at the lights and continue up York Street to the red bricked traffic circle and the Big Tree. Use the traffic circle moving to the right into Knysna Road and continue straight down this road over the railway bridge. Shortly after the large shopping area named "Pick 'n Pay" take the first left (Fifth Street). Go through the 4-way stop, continue straight on to the traffic circle and turn right onto Stander Street. Drive past the Retirement Village and take next left into Bokmakerrie Street, down a steep hill towards the forest and after curve in the road, take the next left into Hammerkop Street.
