Manyeleti Game Reserve is situated in the wildlife rich region of the Limpopo Province Lowveld which forms part of the world-renowned Greater Kruger National Park and hosts a similar variety of wildlife, including the 'Big Five'.

The bird life is also prolific, with over 300 recorded species.

The reserve is situated away from the mainstream tourist areas and one may still experience the tranquillity of the African bush in total seclusion. The name 'Manyeleti', in the local Shangaan language means 'Place of the Stars' and guests may spend a memorable moment watching a magnificent Southern Constellation, with the pride of place taken up by the Southern Cross.

Pungwe Bush Camp is situated in the southern portion of the Manyeleti Game Reserve, along the Pungwe River course and is known for its exclusivity and rustic ambiance.

At Pungwe we pride ourselves on our 'Home Cuisine' cuisine, with certain meals still prepared over an open fire. All refreshments are available in our thatched lounge / dining area.

The camp houses a maximum of eight guests in uniquely constructed thatched and canvas units that are positioned to enhance this great bush experience.

Each room has a washbasin, waterborne toilet and a hot and cold water shower and bath en suite.

Soap, linen and towels are provided.
