For lovers of style, modern design and tranquil surroundings, Bloom Estate is your retreat of choice. Find the perfect balance between luxury, nature and modern design. Rooms are contemporary and striking with simplicity and space as the guideline. A spell relaxing at the poolside or jacuzzi, reading a book in the garden or enjoying a pampering massage could be all you need to do. For the more active, the impressive Langeberg Mountains challenge you to hike them, or play at the 9 holes golf course in Swellendam, or hire a bike, go horse riding or quad biking in the nature area around. The perfect hideaway to relax and unwind. Breakfast will meet top hotel standards. Small lunch and dinner platters on request. Dinner can be arranged at several very good restaurants nearby. Some on walking distance. Swellendam is the third oldest settlement in South Africa and is situated at the foot of the majestic Langeberg mountains. It is famous for its architecture and fascinating history. This peaceful town is well known for the Drostdy Museum, the young-berries, arts, crafts and roses. Swellendam is not only a strategic location, but also its beautiful surroundings are famous.

We will have several day trip suggestions available on request. Wellness therapies are highly recommended. You can hike in Marloth Nature Reserve, an hours trip to the waterfall or day trip to "Twelve Hours Kop", mountain biking through the Langeberg Mountains, fish or canoe at the Breede river, scenic horse riding for novices and experienced riders or take a quad bike tour at the Tradouw. Visit Cape Agulhas, Africa's most southern point, where the two Oceans meet. Have nice wine tasting at the Robertson valley wine estates. Play golf at the beautiful 9 holes Swellendam golf course, ladies- and men-clubs available. But do not forget: it is also possible to just relax at the poolside on a comfortable bed, reading a book and enjoy the sunshine or shade in the beautiful garden setting. Other places of interests in the near surroundings include the Bontebok National Park, de Hoop Nature Reserve, Malgas and Witsand. Or just stay in Swellendam itself: Drostdy museum from 1747, tasting at Wildebraam liqueurs.

The two themes "Four Seasons" and "Three Elements" are the basic inspiration for the decoration of the luxury seven rooms. Four seasons: These four modern and fashionably decorated rooms are each inspired by a different season. Each makes a clear colour-and-season statement: fiber green, sun orange, purplish pink and Nordic blue. The Elements: Earth, Wind & Fire are the themes for the other three rooms. With chocolate brown, grayish blue or passionate red as their main color, they each have their own unique atmosphere. All rooms have a comfortable sitting area with TV, DVD, Ipod-docking station, wireless internet, bar facilities and luxurious bathroom with a bath and a separate shower. French doors open onto landscaped gardens with a tranquil dam, heated saltwater pool, outside jacuzzi and mountain views. With a maximum of 14 guests privacy, attentive service and supreme comfort are assured.
