Carryblaire River Retreat has 11 Rooms and can sleep 24 people on a sharing basis.

All our bedrooms are decoratively inspired by elements from African nature. Most have thatched roofs and mosquito nets and are scattered with antique pieces collected from Parys...

All rooms have tea & coffee facilities and fridges and are fitted with fans and for the winter months with electric heaters and electric blankets... Rooms can be made up as either King Size or two single beds and have full en-suite bathrooms...

Carryblaire River Retreat is graded by AA Quality Assured program as a Highly Recommended Small Country Style Venue.

Catering is included in our rates with options of dinner and breakfast or just breakfast included.

Meals consist of healthy and wholesome farm style cooking, served in the dining room at the main lodge with stunning views overlooking the river. We serve a set menu 3 course dinner in the evenings (please let us have any dietary requirements) and for breakfast a full English accompanied with cereals, yogurt, fruit, juice and tea/coffee.

Take N1 to Bloemfontein, continue through Grasmere tollgate plaza.
Approx 1 km before the Kroonval tollgate plaza take the Parys/Sasolburg turnoff - R59
Turn right towards Parys.
Approx 500m turn right towards Barrage, then first left onto S280 dirt road.
Travel for approx 7 Km until you reach T- Junction.
Turn right on S171. Approx 1 Km turn first left onto S1052.
Follow this road for Approx 3 Km, then follow the S bend left and then right.
Approx another 3 Km, Carryblaire entrance on your right.
