There are 5 fully equipped 2-bedroomed gold-mining style cottages. Each cottage houses up to 5 persons and offers the following accommodation: veranda with table & chairs that overlooks the private barbecue area; an open plan lounge / dining / kitchen, cozy fireplace; main bedroom (double bed), second bedroom (2 single or bunk beds). Directions
From the N2 between Knysna and Sedgefield, turn North onto the Rheenendal road (sms us at this point to ensure we await you at reception for a speedy check-in).
Continue for 11.5km.
Just past the Rheenendal Petrol station / Post Office, turn right at the Bibby’s Hoek sign.
Follow the dirt road for 2.3km to the intersection (Stop sign) near the entrance to the Indigenous Forest.
Turn left and continue for 1.4km.
Forest Edge is at the end of this road.
