A magical African experience. Lesheba Wilderness stretches along the top of the Soutpansberg Mountains in the Limpopo Province.

Located in mountainous terrain, the lodge is often lost in a morning mist- the high moisture has resulted in rich and varied vegetation, from open plains to natural bushveld and high canopy forest.

There are 340 species of trees and a wide variety of birds. Game includes white rhino, leopard, giraffe, zebra and numerous species of antelope.

We offer game drives, hiking trails game viewing on horseback. There are 10 marked trails with paths meandering through lush bush, over plains and down spectacular gorges, where in summer you can swim in clear rock pools.

There are 2 exclusive bushcamps. Both are fully equipped for self catering, full catering is offered from The Venda Village Lodge.

THE VENDA VILLAGE LODGE: Internationally acclaimed Venda artist, Noria Mabasa, helped create the extraordinary Venda Village Lodge. There are two luxury units and four standard. A luxury outdoor bathroom with a view over the plains below; a lapa with a lounge, dining room and kitchen, library and lounge, deck and swimming pool Truly African and Truly Amazing!

HAMASHA has four en-suite bedrooms offering magnificent views of Hamasha gorge. It has a lounge and fireplace with French doors opening out onto a braai area with a panoramic view through the gorge. After a long hike, there's nothing more refreshing than enjoying one of the outdoor showers. Secluded and Magical!

The reserve is 4 and a 1/2 hour's drive from Johannesburg. There is also a landing strip for those who wish to fly in.

Directions
From JHB take the N1 North to Pietersburg and then to Louis Trichardt. Take the R522 to Vivo. We are 36km out of Louis Trichardt on the R522. Turn right at our sign. Follow the gravel road to the top of the mountain.
