MINIMUM STAY OF 4 DAYS
We have two attractive apartments both with glorious sea views. The primary apartment is the top floor of a gracious old Cape home at one time used by General Smuts as a holiday venue. It is also said that the King and Queen of Greece stayed here for a time during the Second World War. The large apartment is entered via a sheltered and private barbecue patio. A Weber kettle braai is provided. The sea and mountain views from the living area must be some of the best along the False Bay coastline. There are 3 exceptionally spacious bedrooms. The main bedroom is en-suite and has a king-size bed and the other two bedrooms share a bathroom and separate toilet. There is a well-appointed kitchen with stove, microwave and washing machine.
Besides the outstanding views the comfortable living area has a television with M-Net & DSTV is also available. Up to six people can be accommodated in comfort. The second smaller apartment is also completely self contained. It is tastefully furnished and well equipped for two people. These apartments can be let together or separately but do not interlead. All linen is provided. Servicing can be arranged. Both these apartments have been rated by the tourism authority, SATOUR, as 3 ***. In addition the SA Bureau of Standards has awarded a 3 Crystal rating to the apartments.
Region
The house overlooks the sea with distant mountain views. It is a three-minute stroll to the bathing beach along an attractive catwalk. During the months August to October there are usually good opportunities to watch the whales from the living area. The Boulders Penguin colony is within easy reach as is the Cape Point Nature Reserve. There are excellent walks and climbs for the energetic and not so energetic! Both the Cape Town CBD and the Stellenbosch wine route can be reached in 35 minutes. Many excellent restaurants are within easy reach. Golf is available nearby as is tennis and bowls. The bathing beach is regarded as one of the safest and best in the Cape.
