Muizenberg is a holiday maker's paradise, with its pristine white beaches, warm water swimming and surfing, coffee shops, restaurants, supermarket, railway station, museums, children's playgrounds, water-slides and putt-putt - all within easy walking distance.

Enjoy amazing beach walks, with a 36km stretch of gently sloping, uninterrupted white sandy beach beckoning to the east, and a coastal boardwalk meandering westwards. Taking the latter route leads you through the neighbouring village of St James [where you can cool-off in the tidal pool], and on to the quaint fishing village of Kalk Bay. In the harbour you can barter with the colourful local fisher folk for the catch of the day to take home and cook, or you can enjoy lunch at one of the many excellent seafood restaurants in and around the harbour. Kalk Bay has a bohemian character and a wealth of antique dealers, theatres, coffee and curio shops, boutiques and art dealers.

Directions
To get from Cape Town International Airport you exit the parking lot and proceed along the N2 highway towards Cape Town for about 10 - 12 minutes. As you approach the base of Table Mountain keep left, turning onto the Muizenberg M3 highway. Continue on this highway through Bishop's Court, passing the turn-offs to Wynberg and Constantia.

About 20 - 25 minutes after having left the airport you get to the end of the M3 Muizenberg highway in the form of a T-junction and traffic lights. Turn left here and then first right at the next T-junction. Now follow your nose along the coastal road passing through Westlake into Muizenberg. At the first main traffic lights turn left and continue under the railway bridge and after about 300 metres turn right into Beach Road. At the traffic circle turn right and then look out for the Empire building on your right overlooking the beach.

On the day of your arrival please call Belinda or Mark (we will email you our cell numbers once your booking is confirmed), for the combination to the postbox in which you will find the keys to your apartment.
