The Tides Inn looks forward to welcoming you to our relaxed family run Bed and Breakfast where the magnificent view and moods of the sea can be enjoyed from the overlooking sundeck. We are situated just south of Durban City Centre on the Indian Ocean.

If you are here on holiday there is plenty to do or if you are here on business amenities are close by. Activities like golf, swimming, surfing, Virgin Active Gym, strolling on the beach are all within a radius of 2km’s. For those who enjoy day outings there is plenty to see and do, why not spend the day in the Drakensberg Mountains or in a wild Game Park not far away. Durban city centre is just a short 15 minute drive away.

Our rooms are homely and comfortable, well suited to both families as well as the discerning businessman. If on business all e-mail, faxing, copying facilities are available, while if on holiday simply relax with a good book and enjoy the wonderful ambiance. All rooms have private access and are en-suite. Breakfast consists of Orange Juice, Fresh Fruit in Season, Yoghurt, Cereals, Sausage, Bacon and Egg. Fresh tea or coffee is also served.

Directions
On N3 from JHB, the Pavilion Shopping Centre will be on your Right, take the N2 Exit 165 / Port Shepstone / South Coast ramp. Travel for +/- 4 kms and then take Exit 161 Queensburgh / Edwin Swales / M7 off ramp. At the Traffic lights turn left onto the M7 and continue on this road for +/- 7 kms where you will pass a BP Garage and Wimpy on your left. The Road will split, take the left hand split - up Bluff Road and turn Right at the Traffic Lights into Old Mission Road, at the traffic circle turn left into Bidford Rd where you will find Grosvenor Girls High School on your Right Hand side. At the T- Junction turn left into Tara Road and then take your first right turn into Club Road. This will take you through the Valley with the Golf Course on your left. Follow the road left until you approach the stop sign on Marine Drive. Turn right into Marine Drive and you will find us +/- 0.5 km up the road on the left hand side opposite Brighton Beach School - look out for the sign.

If travelling from the New King Shaka airport please take the N2 South and follow the above directions from Exit 161 Queensburgh/ Solomon Mahlangu (Edwin Swales) Turn off. We are approx. 45minute drive from the new airport.
