Find your way out of the airport, follow signs saying Johannesburg, usually keeping right. Soon you will be on the R24 highway. This road then flies over and joins the N12. (You do not take any turnoff - just go with the flow.) On the N12, get into the second or third lane from the left. You will then automatically take an off ramp. As you go off to the left, the road immediately splits and you take the right fork. The road narrows to one lane and you go over the N3 highway. As you cross the highway, you go left and that takes you around and down onto the N3. Signs say Pretoria / Johannesburg, follow the Pretoria lane as JHB takes into JHB city centre You are now heading north. Stay on this road and ignore any turnoffs to Johannesburg or Pretoria. (The signs tell you that you are heading for Bloemfontein and Roodepoort - that is what you want.) The N3 swings around from north to west and changes it's name to the N1 (also known as the Concrete Highway), but you will not have turned off anywhere. You will still be on the same road, just a different name. You will go past a turnoff to Rivonia. Ignore that. Take the next off ramp, left, about 7 km further, to William Nicol. Turn right over the highway Travel 1.9km, passing Monte Casino on your right, immediately exit left onto the slip road which feeds onto Witkoppen Rd. Immediately, move into far right lane. Fourways shopping mall will be on your right. Take first right onto Cedar Ave at traffic lights, travel 3.7km, and turn left onto 3rd Rd, Chartwell, passing Broadacres shops on your left. Travel 2.5km, turn left onto Zandspruit Rd. Travel 1.5km, 15 Zandspruit Rd , Amber Rose Country Estate is on the left.
