The Guesthouse offers nine spacious en-suite bedrooms, with terraces opening directly onto the vineyards. Each room is individually decorated and appointed with satellite television, direct telephone, safe, fridge, and tea/coffee-making facilities. Hearty breakfasts are served in the elegant breakfast room or weather permitting on the patio leading to the sparkling pool.
Picnic baskets can be provided for the more energetic guests who want to explore the beauty of the Cape Wine lands or spend the day on one of the nearby beaches, lapping up the African sun. You may also wish to spend the evening out on your terrace under the stars, whilst enjoying one of our delicious dinner platters accompanied by our award winning wines.
Eikendal's modernised tasting facility and friendly team, provide you with the ideal opportunity to sample the range of award winning wines, seven days per week. Visit our barrel-vaulted cellar building for an informative tour and tasting. A unique bonus for guests at harvest-time is a chance to participate in the grape-picking and thereafter to see at close quarters "your" grapes beginning their journey towards our award-winning wines in the pressing cellar, under the guidance of our wine makers. The excellent quality of wines and the spectacular landscape make Eikendal a worthwhile point of call whilst visiting the Cape Winelands.
The area is perfect for the Golf enthusiast who would like to experience some of South Africa's most prestigious courses. Other activities available include hiking in the vineyards and mountains, whale watching (seasonal), shopping at the famous Waterfront in Cape Town and much more.

Directions
From Cape Town Airport travel on the N2, direction Somerset West. Take the Broadway exit on your left and turn left again at the first stop. You are now travelling on the R44, direction Stellenbosch. Turn right onto Eikendal Road (dirt road) and left where you see the Lodge sign. From there on you follow the signs to the Lodge.
