Nooks Pied-a-terre is a stunning home combining traditional Cape Vernacular architecture with modern, contemporary styling and living, and is furnished to the highest standards. Situated in the picturesque village of Franschhoek in the Cape Winelands, Nooks Pied-a-terre offers luxurious self-catering accommodation for up to 4 adults.

The light, airy, spacious lounge offers a huge open fire place, comfortable over-sized leather chairs and sofa, and underfloor heating. Fold back the bank of glass doors and allow the lounge to flow onto the sun-drenched Moroccan style courtyard and swimming pool, planted with lemon, orange and olive trees, Aloes and other indigenous plants. Relax by our sparkling crystal clear pool, listen to the sound of running water, or cool down under the garden shower.

Nooks Pied-a-terre's spacious kitchen / living / dining areas, feature an impressive double volume ceiling with exposed heavy wood beams and two mezzanine levels. Climb the spiral staircase leading to the TV lounge and balconies, and enjoy the surrounding spectacular mountain views and amazing sunsets.

The 'chef's' kitchen is fully equipped, and includes a 5-ring gas burning stove, large electric oven, dishwasher and funky blue bar fridge. A weber braai (barbecue) and tools are also available for those who prefer to cook alfresco.

Nooks Pied-a-terre features two spacious, well appointed bedrooms, both with their own unique bathrooms. Each room is appointed with a king sized bed, 100% percale cotton bed linen, air-conditioning, heating and have mountain views. The master bedroom en-suite opens fully onto the sunny courtyard and pool, as well as having it's own front verandah, whilst the second bedroom is private, secluded and sumptuous with a lovely bay-window aspect.

The master en-suite bathroom has a luxurious stand-a-lone bath, separate shower, double vanity units, underfloor heating, heated towel rail, and opens out onto the courtyard and pool. The second bathroom has a large shower, double vanity units and heated towel rail. Bathrobes & a luxurious range of toiletries and body lotions are also supplied.

Take R45 into Franschhoek. On entering Franschhoek take the first turning on your left into Uitkyk Street (signposted to Chamonix winery). Nooks Pied-a-terre is on your left on the corner of Uitkyk Street & Haumann Street (parking is on Uitkyk Street).
