Amblewood Guest House is situated in a quiet cul-de-sac amidst majestic mountains, just 20 minutes outside the beautiful city of Cape Town. From our pool deck one has a magnificent view of Hout Bay harbour, the Sentinel Mountain and the tranquil bay. The beach is a 10-minute walk away, while upmarket shops, restaurants and banks are a five-minute stroll.

All our rooms are individually decorated with comfort and style. All have extra length beds, en-suite bathrooms, TV, tea trays, sea views and private balconies/ patios.

Tasty, full English and Continental breakfasts are served in the enclosed patio or, on warm summer days, on the pool deck. We will happily organise airport shuttles, car rentals, tours and restaurant bookings.

Directions
From the airport take the N2 to Cape Town city. After approximately 13.9km take the M3 off-ramp to Muizenberg / Kirstenbosch. At the first traffic lights turn right following Hout Bay / Kirstenbosch signs (M63). Follow this road passed Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens Main Gate until you reach a T-junction. Turn right following the road uphill (still M63). Continue for some time on this winding forested road until Constantia Nek traffic circle. Turn to the right around the circle and continue downhill following Hout Bay signs (M63). Continue along Hout Bay Main Road for awhile until you reach a Shell Petrol Station on your left. Immediately after this turn left into Andrews Road, then first right into Darling. Skaife Street is the third road on the left. Follow road to the top (it's a dead end) and we are number 43, the third house from the top on the left with a green roof. The number and name are on the gate.
