Approximately 35 minutes south of Durban in the picturesque village of Pennington, your own bit of peace and quiet in a 4 bedroom character cottage set in half acre of beautiful indigenous garden leading onto a reed bed visited by a variety of bird life and the occasional buck, mongoose and passing monkeys.

The cottage comprises master bedroom with en-suite bathroom (shower, toilet, basin) and 3 further bedrooms (1 double, 1 twin and 1 bunk) with a family bathroom. Lounge equipped with television and DSTV (bring your own sim card), dining room/family room and kitchen fully fitted with fridge/freezer, oven, microwave and washing machine. Large veranda with huge dining table for alfresco dining and plenty of parking space for cars, boats, trailers, etc.

Beach is just under 1km away where you will also find a village mall with all essential shops (supermarket, post office, chemist, etc) as well as a pub which does food and a cafe/restaurant overlooking the beach which is great for whale and dolphin spotting. For larger supermarket shopping the Scottburgh Mall is a 12 minute drive away and has a Pick ‘n Pay, Woolworths and many other shops and restaurants.

Pennington beach offers a tidal pool and swimming beach with a life guard (in season only) as well as great rock pools to explore and miles of sandy beach for either lazing on or fishing off! Scottborough (15 minutes) has a fantastic swimming beach, water slides and other beach front entertainment as well as numerous restaurants.

Directions
Take the N2 south from Durban. Pass the turn-off to Scottburgh and take the next turn-off which is marked Pennington. At the top of the off ramp, turn left and continue to the first traffic lights. Turn right at the lights onto the R102 - following the signs for Pennington. Continue along the R102 for approximately 8 kms to the turn off to Pennington on the left. Take that left turn onto Pennington Drive and then take the second right onto Nanette Avenue and continue along there to the T-junction. Turn right into Douglas Road. Number 35 is the second house on the left behind a big wooden gate.
