Butjani Lodge is an intimate bush lodge situated on a 410ha private Nature Reserve, with a perennial river and wide variety of wildlife and birds. We are only 130km from Sandton and 75km from Pretoria and on the Dinokeng tourist route. Accommodation in four private tented suites under thatch on a raised deck each with an outdoor bush shower.

Your hosts will be Penny, John and Stuart who will ensure your stay is both comfortable and enjoyable.

Activities include swimming, cycling, bush walks and birding. Get close up to our plains game on walks or cycling. We are in close proximity to Cullinan, which is the source of the world's largest diamond. Cullinan also offers an attractive 9-hole golf course. Our clear, unpolluted skies offer great star gazing. Rates quoted include dinner bed and breakfast. Lunch, at an additional cost is available on request. Soak in the silence and tranquility of the African bush.

Directions: Proceed on N1 ( road to Polokwane) and take the Zambezi Drive off-ramp just outside Pretoria.
Proceed through toll (R5.20) and turn right at traffic lights, crossing under highway
At next major intersection glide off left and take the R573 to Kwa Mhlanga.
Continue on this road, approximately 45 km to Moloto, passing Roodeplat dam on right and a shopping strip called Wagendrift on left.
As you approach Moloto, you will pass over two traffic circles, and come to a four way stop.
Turn left at fourway stop – Rust de Winter road, and proceed for approximately 10.5km
