Blue Mountain Lodge is a five star lodge in the heart of Mpumalanga and is a romantic setting for the faint hearted. It is a turn-of-the-century colonial with soaring ceilings, cool deep verandas and miraculous lawns rolling down into indigenous forest.
All suites are unique. Each suite boasts its own fireplace and en-suite bathroom. This is the epitomy of luxury and tranquillity. The Stately Manor House is a unique getaway for royalty, statesmen, and celebrities. Guests set their own pace for breakfast, which is served until noon, sundowners on the veranda and dinner in a fine dining restaurant. The menu is done in an Afro/French style. The walk-in cellar has more than 2000 bottles that offers the guest wine directly off the shelf.
With 200 hectares of land and still a fully operational farm where macadamia nuts and avocado orchards welcomes you to Blue Mountain Lodge with a few walks that would take you around on the property through forest and orchards. For the more adventurous there is a lake on the property where you can do some bass fishing and if you catch a fish or two the chef will prepare your catch of the day for you for lunch or dinner.
Excursions can also be arrange via Helicopter to the world renowned Panorama Route by air and whilst returning to Blue Mountain Lodge, stop off for a picnic specially packed by the hotel to enjoy on the mountain escarpment or a road excursion into the Kruger National Park.
